Teen Dating Violence

Teen dating violence is described as stalking or physical, emotional, sexual, cyber, and/or psychological abuse in a teen relationship. It is important to remember that teen dating violence can occur in both current or past relationships. The reason that teen dating violence is so important is that it focuses on the age group that is most likely to have abuse in their relationships. 1 in 3 adolescents have experienced teen dating violence in the United States and women between the ages of 16-24 experience the highest rate of dating violence.
