We are so grateful for our brilliant community members in Callaway County, and we appreciate every voice shared. If you would like to participate in the CARDV Postcard Project for 2025’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, please review the following options for participating:
1) Decorate & submit your own postcard:
- CARDV Clients – FREE postcards can be obtained by contacting your Primary Advocate here at CARDV and/or during our weekly support group!
- All Other Participants – We can very likely provide a postcard to you for free even if you are not a client! There is a chance we will run out of our postcard supply; however, we will do our best to update this page and notify folks if that happens. It is always an option to purchase a postcard independently as well, but we completely understand this is not accessible for everyone! Contact our Advocates at [email protected] to inquire about postcard availability and to coordinate pickup and/or drop off.
2) Submit your story and an Advocate will decorate a postcard on your behalf:
- We completely understand that sometimes it’s hard to find time for an art project. If you feel comfortable submitting your story below, one of our Advocates will handle the rest of the work for you by decorating a postcard on your behalf! We take every disclosure of abuse seriously and it is a privilege to receive and uplift a piece of your journey.
